Exposing the corruption of Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy: the Trinitarian root of Protestantism. First Century Christianity is Unitarian

Orthodox Corruption Overview

Here we document the many pieces of evidence of Orthodox/Catholic corruption through early church history. This includes the development of theology, the development of the canon of Scripture, early church history, and changes to Christian practices (including baptism)

The articles on TrueUnitarian.com provide the solid foundation of Biblical Unitarianism – its foundation being a balanced exegesis of the wide body of Scripture. For those Christians that hold to the primacy of the Bible over established tradition, this should be more than adequate. However, for the adherent of Roman Catholicism or Eastern Orthodoxy, there is another major obstacle which Scriptural references and best practices for Bible study cannot overcome. This is because so-called “Orthodoxy” is built on a tradition of dogma, philosophy, and authoritarianism.

It is just so difficult for someone who is under the spell of the philosophies and systems of men to get out of the distorted paradigm of thinking influenced by philosophical ideas established by so-called church Fathers. Those who have decided to take that blue pill have little chance of coming around, for it is difficult to get rid of seductive speculations and contrived theories once they have been firmly planted in one’s mind. Cults can be attractive, and even more so the biggest ones. But why are those long-established cults not thought to be as dangerous as the ones that few people adhere to? People tend to have a massive blind spot when it comes to the old institutions, which long ago divorced themselves from the genuine faith reflected in the Apostolic writings of the New Testament.

Roman “Catholicism,”  Eastern “Orthodoxy” and most embodiments of Trinitarian Protestantism are major cults full of paradox and hypocrisy. The Fathers discouraged any use of the faculty of imagination in theology or spiritual life because it tends to lead people to spiritual delusion, yet they were themselves peddlers of philosophical theories. All efforts were to keep the layperson drinking the Kool-Aid while they themselves made the Kool-Aid of their flavor. And they charge all Christians under threat of ex-communication to only drink their Kool-Aid.

“Orthodox” Christians pursue philosophy as a means to uphold their dogma. The sequence is dogma first and second, the invented methodology to rationalize their dogma. Trinitarian philosophy is the blue pill and that they swallow and enter the rabbit hole by following so-called church fathers. The corrupted traditions are supported by a matrix of lies. What has emerged in place of true faith is the product of corrupted institutions.

We were given a simple Gospel, but men endeavored to complicate it in the pursuit of power. The result is a distorted theology of turning the Son of God into God himself -undermining both the testimony of God and of his holy servant, Jesus – conflating God with man. These are those who steer away from the Scriptures. Peter and Paul and Luke have been replaced with the names of fifth and sixth-century philosophers who identified as Christian but were so far removed from the apostolic standard of authentic Christianity.  They refuse to see the Scriptures objectively, but only through the kaleidoscope lens of their chosen thought leaders.

The true pioneers died martyrs. Within the subsequent generations, those who took hold of the faith did so as opportunists and manipulative deceivers, injecting their perverse speculations into Biblical interpretation. They corrupted the Apostle’s Doctrine, obscuring baptism and most other aspects of Christian conversion and initiation. They have created a Frankenstein, having distorted many aspects of Christian belief and practice.
